In 2005, she completed a 3-year intensive Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Registration course and received further certification from the Craniosacral Therapists Association of North America (CSTA/NA). Emily has developed an approach that empowers the client’s innate ability to heal. She prefers to work in accordance with each person’s own system, honouring the strengths and boundaries unique to that individual. Her approach emphasizes awareness and sensitivity to her clients’ specific needs, helping to resolve shock and trauma that may be present in their system. Currently, Emily is co-instructing a Mindfulness and Stress Management course for teacher’s candidates through the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto. She also works with the Hospital for Sick Children’s Community Health Resource Group delivering programs on alternatives to medication for students with ADHD in the classroom. In addition, she is a teaching assistant in a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy registration course in Peterborough, Ontario. |
